Our Story
It started with confusion
When our founders went through the process of buying their first home, they expected it to feel exciting. Instead, it felt overwhelming. Every step felt like a guessing game. When to start the mortgage process, when to bring in the inspector, when to call the appraiser, or what was even supposed to happen next. They were making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives and the process itself was not making it any easier.
They asked around and heard the same thing from almost everyone who had been through it: the process is confusing, stressful, and full of gaps. Not because the people involved are not good at their jobs, but because there was no single place where everyone could see the full picture and move together.
That experience is what led to CloStep. The idea was simple: there should be a better, simpler, and clearer way for every person in a real estate transaction to know exactly where things stand and what comes next.
